The Haida Heartthrob, Adam Ryder, is an Indigenous (Haida) Professional Wrestler based out of New Westminster, BC, Canada. The Haida Heartthrob combines his boisterous, casanova swagger, with his agile and explosive move set. Trust, you ain’t never seen a Haida man with such pretty kicks. With his trademark "Love-taker" Pele Kick, and neo-traditional Indigenous look, Adam Ryder is on his way to becoming one of Canada’s top wrestlers.   

Ryder has been wrestling in the Pacific Northwest for 12 years across Canada working for All Star Wrestling, Extreme Canadian Championship Wrestling, Nation Extreme Wrestling, GlamSlam and WrestleCore and is now making his way across the United States working for DEFY Wrestling and SOS Pro Wrestling in Seattle.  

Adam Ryder's goals:

• Break the stigma that indigenous people have to hide or be ashamed of who they are 
• Make the crowd fall in love with his heartthrob ways 
• Become one of Canada’s top wrestlers  

Ryder was trained by Lance Storm at the Storm Wrestling Academy and has had many mentors including Kobra Kai, Vance Nevada, The Bollywood Boyz, The Mauler and Michelle Starr.   

Ryder has been put in matches against high profile workers such as El Phantasmo, Tommy Dreamer, Thunder Rosa, Rikishi, Luchasaurus, Billy Gunn, Chris Masters, Gangrel, B-Boy, Zicky Dice and Colt Cabana.  

The Human Highlight Reel with Sex Appeal has his sights set on gold and will fight his way through anyone who dares block him from it.
